I’ve had some wonderful news: The medicine is working, and the cancer is shrinking in all areas. The flood of tears of relief was powerful and the thankfulness is all-encompassing. Thankful for having my breath back, for being able to be home, for the medicine in all its forms, for my people, for being given this second chance at life. Every evening when I go to bed, I send this thankfulness out into the open and let it flow through my body. And who knows? - that might be the most powerful medicine of them all.
