It's been exactly like it should: On the day before Christmas Eve, the local nisse stopped by to see if we'd left porridge out for him. We had! So he left a little something for someone special. On the day of Christmas Eve, my folks came over for lunch, opening of presents, and even more porridge for our own barn nisse (he takes care of our animals). The afternoon was spent eating lovely food at my parents' house and generally letting the Christmas feeling sink in.
Oh yes, and see that little bush we've dragged into the living room on the photo below? That's the cutest Christmas tree ever. Straight from our own forest!
