It sounds cheesy and unlikely, I know, but it is true. I have known this little man for a hundred days today, and every day with him has been wonderful. He is so easy going and so sweet and I honestly have not had any days of frustration or anxiety or exhaustion with him. In the beginning all he did was sleep and eat, and now he does that plus smiles, flutters his long eyelashes, talks, examines his hands, observes the world around him with great bemusement, farts, does tiny giggles, and generally charms his folks so we all go soft and mushy on the inside.
I feel so deeply privileged. Thank you for choosing me as your mamma, my sweet, wonderful, shining little Falk.
