Twenty-four hours in paradise.
I have no other word for this place. We have been talking about it and longing for it the whole winter, this beautiful spot on Earth which gives us all we need in its full, perfect simplicity: Sea, sand, sun, trees, birds, wind, grass. After having been at a birth the evening before, I was already high on life, so packing up and heading here felt like the only thing to do. With responsibility of the farm and the kennels, it isn't so often we can get away together in the summer, so it feels all the more important to do it when we can.
The weather was perfect. Everything was perfect.
I am happy and thankful and summer has moved into my body. LOVE.
